Reason based on spiritual knowledge leads to conclusions that match reality

Answers to the big questions, including the nature of existence, require input from the Creator.  At the very least we need authoritative information about the beliefs (i.e. presuppositions) on which to base our reasoning.  Otherwise we must make a completely uninformed choice between myriads of possible initial beliefs almost all of which lead to conclusions that don’t match reality.  That is why the bible was, and remains, indispensable to the advance of science and civilization.

Here are some examples that changed the world.

  • It was by using Christ’s love-based values that common law judges built the compassionate justice that birthed the freedom and prosperity of ABCANZUS – the nations where almost all of the world’s migrants want to live.
  • By believing the biblical view of the nature of existence, great 17th century thinkers established modern science.
  • By contrast, it was by rejecting the bible as a source of presuppositions that philosophy degenerated from rationalism into irrationality
  • By heeding atheistic rationalists, France got bloody revolution, whereas England in very similar social circumstances received God’s Word through Whitefield and Wesley and got a season of unprecedented blessing and greatness.
